An Act to prescribe the number of Supreme Court judges and of puisne judges of the High Court.

[29th July, 1988]

 

 

1.    This Act may be cited as the Supreme Court and High Court (Number of Judges) (Amendment)Act, 1997, and shall be read as one with the Supreme and High Court (Number of Judges) Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act.

  

Short title

Cap. 26

 

2.   There shall be nine judges of the Supreme Court, including the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice.

3.    There shall be thirty puisne judges of the High Court.
